What delivery to Texas costs
Texas is in our Central & South freight zone: a flat $300 per order, free on orders over $1,500. Freight is curbside on a pallet or in crates, typically 3–7 business days, and the carrier calls to book the day. Enter your ZIP at checkout or in our delivery calculator and you'll see the exact fee and earliest date before you pay.
Houston, Dallas–Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio and beyond
We deliver to the big metros — Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, El Paso — and to small towns and ranches alike; if it has a US ZIP code, it has a price. Restaurants and barbecue joints often order crates or our 480 kg pallet of boxed wood for steady supply.
Best formats to ship to Texas
Because freight is priced per order, bigger formats give the best value: a 1 m³ or 2 m³ crate of kiln-dried oak, a full cord, or a pallet of 20 kg boxes that you can store in a garage and carry one at a time. For smoking, our cherry, hickory, pecan, mesquite and oak chunks ship well alongside a larger order.
Texas firewood rules
Texas doesn't ban firewood from other states outright, but emerald ash borer has been found in parts of the state and officials ask people not to move untreated firewood. We only ship kiln-dried wood, and we check the current Texas Department of Agriculture guidance before your order ships. If an order can't be shipped legally, we cancel and refund it in full.
